Currently based in Maui, Hawaii 🇺🇸

2) YEARS COLLAGING?

I’ve been consistently collaging for 6 years. 

 3) WHAT DO YOU LOVE AND HATE ABOUT COLLAGE?

Things I love about collage: Searching for new source material, clipping sessions, exploring new compositions.

Things I hate about collage: Papercuts, Not finding new source material, running out of glue, accidentally cutting/ripping a clipping.

 4) BIGGEST INFLUENCES?

Life & music

 5) ANALOG VS DIGITAL? 

I personally prefer analog over digital — but I also feel there’s a time and place for digital as well. I work in both at times depending on the situation/client and I find myself incorporating some analog elements into my digital work and vice versa.

6) HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR DOWNTIME? 

Not much downtime these days but when I have some I’m usually spending it with my son and gf, collaging, cooking, at the beach, collecting comics I forget to read, Mario Kart, or trying to learn something.

7) THREE TIPS FOR SOMEONE STARTING OUT IN COLLAGE? 

1. Start creating — don’t overthink

 2. Stop comparing your work to others

3. Keep your eye out for source material everywhere you go 

8) UP AND COMING SHOWS OR PROJECTS WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?

 I have just been continuing to create personal work. No upcoming shows to speak on currently. I’ve also for the past year and a half been diving into the Web3/Crypto space and have a few collections out there as well if anyone reading this is into NFT’s and wants to check them out!
