Born in Brazil and now based in Sydney, Danilo Brandão is a collage artist, graphic designer and illustrator. Brandão uses a combination of collage, typography and found imagery to experiment with process and form. Spontaneity and intuition play a key role in the artist’s work; each piece different, layered with a variety of images until a single idea or something exciting comes to life. The combination of analogue and digital manipulation, fine art processes and graphic sensibility gives Brandão’s work complexity and aesthetic beauty that is entirely it’s own.
