About the Exhibition
The Sydney Collage Society is excited to be exhibiting at The Other Art Fair Sydney 2025, showcasing new works from our talented members. This exhibition highlights contemporary analogue collage, offering visitors a diverse array of creative voices and approaches to the medium. From intricate paper compositions to bold mixed-media explorations, the show celebrates the tactile, experimental, and democratic nature of collage as a vibrant artistic practice. In addition to the exhibition, the Society ran four unique collage workshops throughout the Fair, each led by a different member. Participants will have the chance to explore a variety of styles, techniques, and creative perspectives in analogue collage, guided by the expertise of Kubi Vasak (Founder & Director of SCS), along with artists and Society members Liz Peniazeva, Millie Bartlett, Simon Welsh, and Sue Morais.

About the Exhibition
Since 2015, the Sydney Collage Society (SCS) has been a platform for contemporary collage and creative exchange. What started as a handful of artists putting on group shows, has continued to grow and evolve. Through exhibitions, artist interviews and hands-on workshops, the Society continues to foster creative connection, collaboration and experimentation in contemporary collage. Over the past decade, SCS has collaborated with leading cultural institutions, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Sydney Living Museums, as well as local councils on a range of public projects — championing collage as a vibrant and accessible art form. As SCS enters its next decade, the Society looks to expand its reach — developing new opportunities for artists, educators and audiences to engage with collage in fresh and meaningful ways.
