An Afternoon of Cut and Paste w/ The Sydney Collage Society
Due to popular demand we'll be running our second last Cut & Paste workshop for 2019 at Workshop in Redfern on Saturday 15th of June. The afternoon workshop will run from 2-5pm. We are very lucky to have being donated plenty of new material to use (Thank you Helen Frank!). There is plenty of birds, people, architecture, flower and animal books to create beautiful works with! The workshops will be run by SCS members.
Collage - A Night & Afternoon of Cut and Paste is an introduction into making analog collages, run by us the Sydney Collage Society. The three-hour evening workshop will provide you with the practical skills and techniques used to make analog collages.
Students will learn about specific types of collage, using colour, texture, form and image placement. We’ll give you tips to look out for when sourcing materials and gluing work will also be discussed. By the end of the class, students will have completed various collages in different styles. 🌶🤘🏻🔥
