Workshop at the Manly Art Gallery

Creative Collage for Community Connection.

We design and deliver thoughtful, hands-on collage workshops that bring people together through creativity.

Working with major institutions, local government, galleries and community organisations across Sydney and Greater Sydney, our programs are tailored to respond to specific themes, exhibitions, public initiatives and place-based stories.

Each workshop fosters storytelling, collaboration and shared meaning-making. Through collage, participants explore composition, colour, balance and narrative while strengthening creative confidence and critical thinking.

More than art-making, our sessions create space for dialogue, reflection and genuine community connection.

Workshop at the Burwood Library

Typical Workshop Structure

  • Introduction & Context: An accessible introduction to collage history, key artistic approaches and conceptual frameworks — often connected to a site, exhibition, community theme or cultural narrative.

  • Creative Making Session: Participants create their own collage works using guided prompts and individual support. Workshops may incorporate collaborative elements that encourage exchange, discussion and collective storytelling.

  • Reflection & Sharing: A gallery-style presentation where participants reflect on their process and outcomes, strengthening confidence, communication and appreciation of diverse perspectives.

Programs can also extend to include engagement resources, professional development sessions, or place-based activations aligned with broader cultural initiatives.
