Steve Tierney

Steve Tierney is an Australian mixed media artist and designer renowned for his striking collages, assembled using images cut from vintage magazines and photo journals. His work also incorporates original photographs, often sourced through collaborations with photographers.

Born in 1976 and raised in the southern coastal suburbs of Sydney, Tierney pursued art and design studies at Sydney Graphics College in 1997. Since 2003, he has showcased his art in both solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including in Mexico, the USA, Japan, and Italy.

As a member of the Sydney Collage Society, he actively participates in group exhibitions, collaborative projects, and workshops. He has been featured in international arts journals and online magazines and regularly undertakes commissioned projects.
