Sydney Collage Society Turns 10

Since 2015, the Sydney Collage Society (SCS) has been a platform for contemporary collage and creative exchange. What started as a handful of artists putting on group shows, has continued to grow and evolve. Through exhibitions, artist interviews and hands-on workshops, the Society continues to foster creative connection, collaboration and experimentation in contemporary collage.

Over the past decade, SCS has collaborated with leading cultural institutions, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Sydney Living Museums, as well as local councils on a range of public projects — championing collage as a vibrant and accessible art form.

As SCS enters its next decade, the Society looks to expand its reach — developing new opportunities for artists, educators and audiences to engage with collage in fresh and meaningful ways.

To celebrate the milestone, we’re hosting a one-night-only exhibition & party featuring 14 artists on Friday, 5th of December, followed by a collage workshop on Saturday, 6th of November with SCS artist Daimon Downey, hosted by the Sydney Collage Society. Spaces are limited. Please book through this link -
