New Artist Downtime Interview w/ Jelle Van Den Heede

In our latest Downtime Interview, we speak with Belgian illustrator and visual artist Jelle Van Den Heede, whose practice spans collage, object assemblage, photography and kinetic mobiles. Working intuitively through analogue processes, Jelle explores traces of time, overlooked details and the poetry of everyday materials. Influenced by nature, architecture and the rhythms of observation, her work transforms found elements into delicate visual languages that balance simplicity with subtle tension. As her practice increasingly expands into sculpture and movement, Jelle continues to investigate how objects, images and memories can be reassembled into new forms of meaning.
