Freya Jobbins Joins the Sydney Collage Society

We’re excited to share the news that Australian artist Freya Jobbins has joined the Sydney Collage Society in 2026.

Freya is a multidisciplinary artist working across collage, assemblage, installation and printmaking. Her practice explores appropriation, re-contextualisation and the transformation of pre-existing objects and images to examine identity, the human experience and contemporary narratives. Her work has been exhibited throughout Australia and internationally, with selections in major exhibitions and awards including the Burwood Art Prize, Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award, McClelland National Small Sculpture Award and the Fishers Ghost Art Award, where she won the Contemporary Category in 2010 and 2025.

Freya’s thoughtful and distinctive approach to collage makes her an exciting addition to the Sydney Collage Society.
